Community Nature Resources Platform
NycoSat is developing community oriented nature resources’ positioning and sharing platform. The platform has environmental and biology data integrative and science innovative ambitions but also will create benefits for areas with food problem in all over the word. The platform has a strong geo-social network output.
The main idea is to collect nature resources data using satellite raw picture information and the other hand on the spot observing information from archived science programmes and constantly updated mobil social networking data. Satellite navigation systems are added to the platform and to the mobile applications.
There are integrative challenge to put together all data about nature resources, combining satellite earth observation data, scientific data and knowledge of the people, who are active on the spot. The integration enables to create multifunctional, up to date nature resources platform where anyone in the world can easily participate as a developer or/and as a user of created benefits.
The platform enables cost-effectively monitor and observe different nature resources habitations in all over the world and predicts the future change of their sustainability. That also helps predict the change of environment as an ecosystem and detects small but long term pollutions and climate change signs.
This platform is open source locations of food and water in the problem areas. Assembling different knowledge about those resources is vital for many developing countries and helps to make their economy more efficient and develop areas like tourism, agriculture and safety.
